About Me

Photography has always been a way for me to capture the most precious moments in my childrens lives. It started out as a hobby but soon became my passion.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2003. I worked for 7 years at a job that I loved but I still did a little photography on the side. The business started to grow very fast and I soon made the decision to pursue my dream of being a photographer full time. Shortly after I left my "real job" we found out we were having our 3rd boy! Jax is my youngest son and he was born with several health issues. He had to stay in the NICU his first 6 weeks of life and he's had 6 surgeries. He has inspired me to do as much good in the world as I can. My goal is to pay it forward for all the support we received while he was in the hospital and all the support we still receive.

In January 2011 I met an amazing little girl named Alana Sanchez. She was 18 months old and she was battling leukemia. She inspired me to form a non-profit organization to help children who are battling life threatening illnesses. She passed away just a couple months after I met her. I named the organization Alana's Angels in honor of her. My goal is to photograph as many of these amazing children as I can so that I can give some special memories to the families to brighten their days. I have met so many children who have really inspired me to help out as much as I can. I know I will never find a cure for any illness but I can give a family memories to treasure for a lifetime.

I specialize in photographing children but we do it all at Impressions by Leslie. We are a team of 3. My mother Lisa schedules all of my sessions and keeps me on track. My dad Larry is also a photographer. He specializes in newborn portraits and also works with me at weddings.

I hope you enjoy our work!
